Do you actually know what is included in your facial care? In fact, the tiny, fine print list of ingredients on a face cream is rather intimidating when we read terms like "Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone" or "Methylchloroisothiazolinone".
Especially if you are struggling with very sensitive, dry and dehydrated skin or suffer from redness, impurities and pimple marks, it is worth finding out which ingredients are hidden behind the ingredients on the label of your face cream, what the substances are made of and whether they are suitable for your individual skin problem and your skin type are suitable.
Explanation of ingredients
It is good to know that the ingredients of a cosmetic product must be specified on the packaging in accordance with the EU Cosmetics Regulation. This so-called INCI list (International Nomenclature of Ingredients) contains all the raw materials used in descending order of quantity. The higher up an active ingredient is listed, the greater its proportion in the product. If you know your own skin type and deal with the individual ingredients, it is easier to avoid possible irritation of the skin.
You can find all the ingredients used by myrto with their ratings at Codecheck.info, for example. The rating system provides several levels, the best rating has a solid green ring, the worst rating has a solid red ring, with an average rating a segment of the ring turns red. A gray ring means that there is no rating yet. All myrto products contain only ingredients with a 100% green circle and are therefore 100% recommended. You will never find any products with red rated ingredients at myrto-naturalcosmetics. Nevertheless, if you have extremely sensitive skin and intolerances, it can make sense to first test a new product individually and only on a small area of skin.
