Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Can I combine the niacinamide serum with the vitamin C serum or azelaic serum?

Yes, in principle that's possible. With sensitive skin, it's advisable not to layer all the active ingredients all at once, but rather, for example use Vitamin C in the morning and use niacinamide or Azelaic Acid in the evening or to rotate active ingredients on different days.

Is niacinamide good for acne, blemishes, or rosacea?

Niacinamide can be very helpful for blemishes and inflamed skin, as it has a soothing effect and can reduce redness. It is often well-tolerated by people with rosacea; however, we recommend starting slowly with very sensitive skin and observing the skin's reaction.

Does niacinamide serum help with enlarged pores and oily shine?

Yes. High concentrations of niacinamide and 1% zinc PCA help regulate sebum production and visibly refine the complexion. This often makes pores appear smaller and the skin less shiny.

Isn't 12% niacinamide too highly concentrated?

The 12% niacinamide concentration is highly effective and exceptionally well-tolerated. The formula is specifically designed so that the niacinamide is balanced by soothing and moisturizing ingredients such as beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, and licorice root. For hypersensitive skin, we recommend starting with a small amount or initially applying the serum every other day.

How do I apply the serum if my skin is dry or irritated?

For dry or irritated skin, you can start with a small amount and if needed top up the serum with a myrto facial oil. This makes it milder and provides additional lipid support for the sensitive skin barrier. The serum should not be used on open inflammations or pimples.
