Exclusive interview with the founder of Myrto – Well-Aging, Skin Health & Premium Organic Cosmetics
In the factory garden, Eva, founder of myrto Naturkosmetik, talks about well-aging instead of anti-aging, natural active ingredients like sea buckthorn and beta-glucan, and the values of our sustainable factory. An honest look behind the scenes for sensitive skincare in harmony with nature.
Between lavender bushes, wild bees, and sea buckthorn: In the myrto Naturkosmetik factory garden, we, as a family business, speak with founder Eva about what truly drives us: skin health in harmony with nature, and an honest look behind the scenes. Eva shares why she practices well-aging instead of anti-aging at myrto – aging with ease, strengthening the skin barrier, and nurturing one's radiance instead of chasing it. She explains how sea buckthorn, with its vitamins A, C, and E, nourishes the skin and how beta-glucan, with its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, is particularly helpful for sensitive skin; many in our community also report noticeable improvements in rosacea (natural treatment). It becomes very relatable when Eva recounts the beginnings: failed batches, tough consistency, and weeks of trial and error until the breakthrough finally came – and the first product has now grown into a range of over 80 products. These experiences continue to shape our natural cosmetics factory today: handmade, with sustainable skincare, fair-trade raw materials, and a great deal of patience for details. Our founder interview is an invitation to learn more about myrto's values, daily decisions, and connection to nature.
