Our Protective Organic Sunshine Day Oil S is an antioxidant-effective, plant-based sunscreen without nanoparticles. This oil serum for sensitive skin absorbs damaging UV and infrared radiation without impairing the body's natural production of vitamin D. This protective organic facial oil for sunny days absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. Fragrance-free. The myrto Sunshine facial oils were recognized as winners of the Green Product Award.

Active ingredient profile

Organic Karanja oil – plant-based, non-standardized sun protection factor approx. 30, with UV protection booster Pongamol, absorbs UVA and UVB radiation, protects against light-induced skin aging, inhibits inflammation, soothes irritated and itchy skin.
Organic jojoba oil – healing and soothing properties, improves skin elasticity, strengthens connective tissue, absorbs quickly and deeply.
Schizandra Berry Extract – contains vitamins A, C, E and B6, has anti-allergenic properties, inhibits inflammation, soothes UV-stressed, inflamed and itchy skin.
Organic rosemary extract – powerful antioxidant effect, cell-protective, reduces UV-induced redness and micro-inflammation of the tissue, allergen-free.

Sunshine Day Oil S provides natural sun protection without a whitening effect. Karanja oil absorbs damaging UVA and UVB radiation. It protects cells from damaging sun exposure and stimulates the cellular repair system. Sunshine Day Oil S contains a powerful antioxidant complex: Schizandra, rosemary, and sea buckthorn protect against free radicals and counteract light-induced cell aging.

The karanja oil we use with the UV protection booster Pongamol has a plant-based SPF of approximately 30, as documented by the manufacturer. However, karanja oil is not listed as a UV filter under the EU Cosmetics Regulation. This is because, according to the EU directive, all sunscreen products must contain either a chemical or mineral filter. Since Sunshine Day Oil is a purely plant-based sunscreen that contains neither chemical nor mineral UV filters, no sun protection factor can be stated for this product according to EU regulations. For intensive sunbathing, Sunshine Day Oil should also be combined with a mineral sunscreen.
