Ylang-Ylang (INCI: Cananga Odorata Flower Oil ) is an essential oil extracted from the fragrant flowers of the ylang-ylang tree. Its rich, sweet, exotic scent with floral depth is traditionally used for relaxation, as an aphrodisiac, and for skin care. It is one of the most well-known oils in aromatherapy and has both physical and emotional balancing effects.
Origin & Production
The ylang-ylang tree originally grows in Indonesia, Madagascar, and the Comoros. The essential oil is extracted through gentle steam distillation of the fresh flowers. This produces a pure, intense oil with a mood-enhancing effect. Our ylang-ylang is certified organic .
