Vetiver oil (INCI: Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil ) is an earthy, deeply fragrant essential oil with powerful psychological and physical effects. It is considered strengthening, balancing, and stress-reducing—at the same time, it is very well tolerated by the skin.
Origin & Production
Vetiver is a tropical sweet grass that grows in Southeast Asia, particularly in Haiti, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. The essential oil is extracted from the roots, which grow up to three meters deep, through gentle steam distillation. Our vetiver oil is certified organic.
