Shea butter – nourishing, regenerating & anti-inflammatory
Shea butter is an intensively nourishing, skin-soothing ingredient with unsaponifiable components – ideal for dry, sensitive and irritated skin.
Introduction / Brief description
Shea butter (INCI: Butyrospermum Parkii Butter ) is a proven herbal ingredient derived from the nut of the West African shea tree. It contains a unique combination of skin-protecting vitamins, fatty acids, and unsaponifiable components—ideal for dry, irritated, or barrier-damaged skin.

Origin & Production
Our shea butter comes from a fair trade project in Burkina Faso. The shea nuts are traditionally collected by women's groups, gently dried, milled into a paste, and filtered several times. Direct sales at fair prices provide local women with a secure source of income – entirely without industrial refining.
