Olive oil – regenerating, anti-inflammatory & protective for dry skin
Olive oil (Olea Europaea Fruit Oil) is rich in oleic acid, antioxidants and vitamins – ideal for dry, irritated or mature skin.
Introduction / Brief description
Olive oil (INCI: Olea Europaea Fruit Oil ) is one of the oldest medicinal and skincare products in the world. It is extracted from the flesh of ripe olives and contains a high proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins. In skin care, olive oil has intensive moisturizing, regenerating, and anti-inflammatory properties—especially for dry, flaky, or irritated skin.
Origin & Production
Our olive oil comes from certified organic cultivation by a small family farm on Crete, which has been processing Koroneiki olives for three generations. Approximately 30% of the trees are over 500 years old. The harvest is carefully carried out by hand. After peeling and pitting, the fruit pulp is cold-pressed – at a maximum temperature of 27°C. This extra virgin oil retains its valuable secondary plant compounds and, thanks to the gentle processing, is particularly kind to the skin. The quality is also reflected in its color: High-quality olive oil is light yellow to greenish – not dark green, as with heat treatment.

Effect on skin & hair
Caring, soothing & cell regenerating
Olive oil penetrates deep into the skin, replenishes lipids, relieves itching, and promotes cell regeneration. It soothes irritated skin, supports wound healing, and helps with chapped or flaky skin. It also exerts a strengthening effect on skin with atopic dermatitis or sun-damaged skin.
Active ingredients in olive oil
- Oleic acid & palmitic acid: Support the skin barrier and make the skin supple.
- Ceramides: Strengthen the skin’s natural protective function and prevent moisture loss.
- Vitamin E (Alpha-Tocopherol): Antioxidant, smoothes the skin & supports regeneration.
- Vitamin A: Promotes collagen formation & improves skin elasticity.
- Oleocanthal: Has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and is only found in olive oil.
