Origin & Production
Sea salt is extracted from seawater through natural evaporation in salt marshes or salt pans. This process dates back centuries, in which solar heat causes the water to evaporate, leaving behind valuable mineral salts such as magnesium, calcium, and potassium. These natural crystals are mechanically purified and gently dried – without chemical additives.
