Origin & Production
The myrtle oil used in myrto comes from controlled wild harvesting . It is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh leaves and twigs of the myrtle (Myrtus Communis). The plant grows wild in Mediterranean regions such as Corsica and Sardinia.
