Rosewood (Aniba Rosaeodora / Dalbergia Sissoo) - Certified organic control
The Brazilian rosewood tree (Aniba Rosaeodora) with ist rose-like sensual fragrance belongs to the laurel plant family. The home of the evergreen tree is the tropical rainforest of South America. The extraction of the coveted rosewood oil has been increasingly criticized in recent years. Meanwhile, the rosewood tree is one of the endangered tree species and is classified in the Red List of the World Conservation Union as "highly endangered". For this reason, we use the essential oil of the Indian rosewood tree (Dalbergia sissoo) for our natural perfume. With its very similar scent profile it is a good and resource-saving alternative. The essential rosewood oil is obtained by steam distillation of the reddish wood chips.
